Quality leather is one of the most durable materials you can choose for your pet's accessories — but like all natural materials, it rewards a little care.
Daily Care
After muddy walks, wipe the collar down with a clean, barely damp cloth. Avoid soaking the leather or using soap, which strips the natural oils. Let it air dry away from direct heat.
Monthly Conditioning
Every four to six weeks, apply a small amount of quality leather conditioner using a soft cloth in gentle circular motions. This replenishes the natural oils and keeps the leather supple.
Storage
Store leather accessories in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Prolonged UV exposure can fade the colour and dry out the leather.
What to Avoid
Keep leather away from chlorinated water, harsh cleaning products, and extreme heat. If your dog loves to swim, consider our waxed canvas range for water activities.
